Welcome Students and Young Professionals!

"Becoming a CCIH member was the best decision I could have made. Several months after finishing grad school, I was still jobless and my spirits were in the dumps. When I joined, Sophie, the Student Outreach Coordinator kept sending out emails about job & volunteer positions and found several positions which she said I might be interested in. After sending my application in and having two interviews, I was offered a position as a public health intern with World Vision. I'm glad I heard about CCIH!"

Thanks for taking the time to visit the student section of our website. We hope that you’ll find some helpful resources here.

We provide insight from health and development professionals about their personal and professional lives through our In Touch Interview Series. We also have information about different networks available to you, resume and cover letter samples and additional mentorship programs under Resources for Students. Are you a member of a club or student group focused on global health and development? Look into our Speakers Bureau to request a speaker for an event or gathering.

Please visit Become a CCIH Member if you aren’t one already. This gives CCIH Staff and Student Outreach Coordinator, Sophie Huber, the ability to help you in more specific ways. Membership for you would also mean access to further job and internship resources, CCIH Mentorship program, and publicity of your job, internship, and research position availability to our 160+ organizational members.
