Web Developer Intern/Volunteer needed Print

CCIH is looking for a Web Developer Intern/Volunteer (called ‘intern’ for the purposes of this announcement) to support the CCIH website. The major responsibility of the intern will be to develop a plan to organize and/or restructure the back-end of the website and to implement that plan, where possible. Other web-related goals include creating a mapping feature and a password protected job portal and updating the web administrators’ manual. Qualified candidates will have expertise with HTML, familiarity with open-source content management systems, excellent English written and oral communication and advanced computer skills. This position is not supported by office space or equipment so candidates must be able to work independently, with a minimum of supervision and must have access to needed equipment. The position is unpaid but interns may be able to receive academic credit for their experience as well as membership in CCIH.

For further information, please download the full description of the position.
