CCIH 26th Annual Conference - June 8-10, 2012 Print

 

  

 
 
The 2012 CCIH conference attracted approximately 150 global health professionals and students from across the globe, including attendees from Africa, India, South America, Canada and the U.S.
 
Sixteen sessions focused on a variety of topics, including the growing epidemic of non-communicable diseases related to lifestyle and how faith communities can play a vital role in mitigating this trend; Christian innovations in HIV prevention and care; gender relations; family planning; nutrition; technology in global health; and more. Attendees included professionals with decades of experience in global health along with students just starting their careers. (Students and young professionals at the 2012 conference pictured at left)
