Dr. Mwenda is Executive Director of CHAK, a national network of Protestant churches' health facilities and programs from all over Kenya with a current membership of 416. Before joining CHAK 4 years ago, he served as CEO of a 280 bed rural-based mission hospital for 5 years. |

| Dr. Ngwira has worked at various levels of the health delivery system in Malawi. After 11 years of working for the government, Dr. Ngwira began working for the church in 2001, and is currently Synod Health Coordinator for Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP), Synod of Livingstonia. |

Mr. Dimmock has served as a missionary in Africa since 1979. He currently serves in Malawi as a Health Coordinator, liasing between missions hospitals, health centers and the government, and as a Regional Health Consultant for Africa for the Presbyterian Church USA. He is completing a Dr.PH. |

There are subsets of adolescents, especially girls, who are particularly vulnerable in the context of HIV/AIDS. This session will address these vulnerable groups, and in particular the prevalence of child marriage and the vulnerability of married adolescent girls. Discussion will focus on the role of the church in delaying age at marriage, dispelling the myth of marriage as a "safety zone," and providing support for married adolescent girls.
