Although the Global Fund has continued to be an important force in funding programs meeting HIV/AIDS funding needs, and many CCIH members receive Global Fund funding at the country level, the CCIH Global Fund Working Group has been largely inactive this year. An updated version of the useful publication Engaging with The Global Fund To Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, A Primer for Faith-based Organizations, originally written by Milton Amayun, was produced by the Center for Interfaith Action on Global Poverty. A short proposal for funding from Vestigard, Ltd was written and requires follow up. CCIH is re-evaluating the need for this Task Force, which may be disbanded.
