CCIH at the International Family Planning Conference: Faith-based Presence Strong Print {sharethis label=}
Ray Martin, Executive Director of CCIH and Douglas Huber, Co-Chair of the CCIH FP/RH Working Group, attended the November 2011 International Conference on Family Planning in Dakar, Senegal. This conference was the second family planning conference organized by the Gates Institute with the first held in Kampala, Uganda in 2009. More than 2000 people descended upon Dakar from November 29-December 2, almost 800 more participants than Uganda.

CCIH Co-sponsors Event on FBO Response to Maternal Mortality Print {sharethis label=}
On 15-16 November 2011, CCIH co-sponsored "Engaging Faith-Based Organizations in the Response to Maternal Mortality" with The Woodrow Wilson Center's Global Health Initiative, the Maternal Health Task Force, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and World Faiths Development Dialogue.

CCIH at the Global Missions Health Conference 2011 Print {sharethis label=}
This year, CCIH members, volunteers and staff again participated in the Global Missions Health Conference as a partner organization. The conference took place in Louisville, KY, from 10-12 November, 2011 and is one of the largest global missions health conferences in the world, typically attended by 2,500-3,000 mission minded nurses, physicians, public health professionals and other clinicians.
