   Monthly Bulletin Newsletter

CCIH produces a Monthly Bulletin newsletter, sent exclusively to members and affiliates, with a variety of information of benefit to those interested in international health from a Christian perspective. All members and affiliates receive the Monthly Bulletin via email, which is linked to the full bulletin online.

Members/affiliates may submit the following for inclusion in the bulletin:
  • Upcoming events: highlights of events which impact health and the faith community
  • Employment notices
    • Will be posted on the News and Student listserv as well as in the monthly bulletin.
    • Individual members may also post their availability for volunteer and career positions. Member/affiliate organizations have ready access to these profiles. This is particularly important for students and recent graduates who are looking for internships and entry-level positions and it provides an opportunity for organizations to support CCIH’s commitment to nurture the next generation of Christian global health workers.
  • Resources from or of interest to the faith-based community:
    • relevant resources such as information on projects and programs
    • reports
    • toolkits
    • research
    • opportunities for public/private or secular/FBO partnerships
    • Items of interest from non-faith-based sources
  • Funding opportunities

An unlimited number of employees of organizational members and affiliates may be placed on the email distribution list.

   CCIH Listservs

CCIH moderates five listservs: News, AIDS, Family Planning, Haiti and Hospitals which are open to anyone who visits the website. Members and affiliates are encouraged to submit notices that reach listserv members around the world. View Listservs

   CCIH Annual Conference

The CCIH Annual Conference is a professionally and personally enriching event where current issues, policies and best practices in global health and development are uniquely blended with worship and fellowship through plenary and breakout sessions, informal discussions, networking opportunities, exhibits and time for individual introspection. The participants from around the world are a diverse mix of health and development professionals, church and lay leaders, and students. The atmosphere is professional, yet informal and relaxing.

The conference provides an excellent opportunity to meet, share, discuss, debate, and fellowship with others within in the CCIH network as well as others who recognize the value of connecting with faith-based organizations.

  • CCIH member and affiliate organizations are encouraged to become involved in planning and presenting at the conference as well as exhibiting materials about their organization. Many collaborations and partnerships have resulted due to relationships begun during a CCIH conference
  • Discounted registration fees at CCIH conferences and workshops
  • Sponsorship opportunities for visibility opportunities to key Christian influencers, thought-leaders, and decision-makers in the international health field

   Networking

CCIH encourages collaboration and partnership within its network and with the wider Christian community, as well as between faith-based organizations and local, national, international and multinational communities.  We work to empower our network to support local communities and encourage them to take charge of their own health.

   Speakers Bureau

The Christian Connections for International Health Speakers Bureau is a list of highly qualified global health professionals connected with CCIH who are willing to share their area of expertise with interested students, church groups, various NGOs, advocacy groups, and many more.  The list of speakers in the CCIH Speakers Bureau represents a rich diversity of talents, skills and experiences. They are passionate about sharing who they are and where they have been with audiences who are interested in a faith-based perspective of global health. CCIH's Speakers Bureau is unique because our speakers have the ability to discuss how their faith has played a remarkable role in their work in international health and development.

If interested in volunteering your services and joining the bureau as a speaker, please contact Sophie Savage at sophie.huber@ccih.org.

As an organizational member, affiliate or individual member, access and application to the Speakers Bureau is FREE. For information about how to apply and for a list of potential speaking topics, please click here.
