CCIH participates in conferences and other events throughout the year with varying degrees and types of involvement.

Conferences: Participation in conferences often involves maintaining an exhibit booth where materials from member and affiliate organizations are displayed alongside CCIH materials. In those conferences where we don’t have booths, we carry CCIH materials with us and take every opportunity we can to spread the word about Christian international health. Our participation in secular conferences serves two purposes: it provides an opportunity to reach people who either don’t know about the work of faith-based organizations or who are skeptical about the impact and effectiveness of FBOs, and it gives us a chance to connect with and encourage Christians operating in a secular environment. 

Meetings and other events: CCIH is involved in numerous local, national and international fora where it serves as voice for the Christian international health community. Often, when a faith-based presence is desired at an event, CCIH is sought out by the organizers to be involved. CCIH also seeks out opportunities to partner with other faith-based and secular organizations in events in order to bring the voice and the experience of the Christian community to the forefront of discussions affecting global health issues such as policies, programs, funding, collaboration, etc. As a networking organization, CCIH is also active in informing organizations and individuals in its extensive network of opportunities for them to become involved in and attend relevant conferences and events.
