At the Ecumenical Advocacy Alliance Assembly in November 2008, EAA Executive
Director Linda Hartke announced her decision to leave the organization.
Linda completes her term in September 2009. The EAA
(http://www.e-alliance.ch) has appointed a search committee to look for
Linda’s successor. The job announcement pasted below can also be found at
http://www.e-alliance.ch/execdirsearch, along with the position description
and an application. The deadline for the application is February 28, 2009.

CCIH values the role that EAA plays as an advocate for global issues that
affect people of faith. The EAA currently has campaigns on HIV and AIDS and
global trade. CCIH has worked with EAA, particularly with regards to the
Ecumenical Pre-Conferences to the International AIDS Conferences and in
advocating for issues involving the faith community during UNGASS meetings.
It is our hope that a candidate can be found who will build upon the solid
foundation that Linda and her colleagues have built.
