[Haiti] Seeking Colleagues in Haiti

IMPORTANT 

Seeking information on the whereabouts of staff members of IMA World Health,
JHPIEGO and United Methodist Church General Board of Global Ministries

 

This is an important notice regarding these three organizations which are
seeking information concerning their staff who were in Haiti during the
earthquake on Tuesday but have not been heard from since.  Please contact
Erika Pearl at IMA World Health (erikapearl at imaworldhealth.org) if you have
any information to share regarding these people. Please see the attached
flyers with information and pictures of the missing staff members of IMA and
JHPIEGO.

Dear all,

 

Many of you, as well as IMA World Health are diligently searching for any
first-hand information pertaining to our American and Haitian colleagues
after Tuesday’s earthquake. IMA World Health has 5 local national staff and
3 American staff that are unaccounted for after the earthquake. Any
information that you might come across for these individuals would be
greatly appreciated. We have tried, unsuccessfully, to reach them.

 

The 3 American staff: Dr. Sarla Chand, Ms. Ann Varghese, and Mr. Rick Santos
were initially believed to have been at a meeting at the Hotel Montana when
the earthquake hit, although this is unconfirmed. Other accounts are saying
that they might not have been at this site. An alternative site would be the
IMA World Health/HAITI office: 53 Rue Chareron, Hopital St. François de
Salles. They were lodging at the Hotel Prince. 

 

Our local staff consists of: Dr. Abdel Direny, Giannie Jean Baptiste,
Execkiel Milar, Ambroise Jean Sylvain, and Dr. Franck Monestime.  I have
attached pictures of all the IMA staff as well as contact information.

 

In addition, any information that may be learned regarding our Jhpiego
colleagues: Lucito Jeannis; Marie Flore Trevant, Dr. Jean Bernard Fevrier
and Jean Wesner Cazenave would be greatly appreciated. Their pictures and
contact information are attached.

 

The General Board of Global Ministries (GBGM) is also reaching out for
information pertaining to their American staff: Reverend Sam Dixon, Mr.
Clint Rabb, and Mr. James Gulley. 

 

If you hear anything regarding these any of the aforementioned individuals
please contact me. Any assistance or information that you could provide
would be greatly appreciated.
