[CCIH-Haiti] Medical Professionals Needed to Volunteer for Haiti

This message comes from Greg Seager of a new organization called Christian
Health Service Corps. In fact this organization is so new that its website
is set to launch on February 1. The earthquake in Haiti has prompted Greg to
make an announcement of the organization and its mission before this launch
takes place.

Hello everyone, 

 

Many of you know Candi and I have been developing a medical missions
organization. We are doing so out of a heartfelt need for a mission sending
organization dedicated to healthcare professionals (and CHE trained
community health workers). The name of the organization is the Christian
Health Service Corps. We will be an exclusively medical, interdenominational
missionary sending organization.

 

Our website will not be up until the first of February. I was planning to
make this announcement next month but the crisis in Haiti has pushed it
forward. We will not be conducting disaster relief efforts, we are a sending
organization. We connect healthcare professionals who want to serve with
reputable organizations, mission hospitals, and community health programs.
We will place health professionals for as little as three weeks to a to a
life time. We will have a short-term medical teams program but its purpose
is to train those who engage in medical missions in safe mission practices.
That is not what this email is about. 

 

The point of this email: In the process of setting up the Christian Health
Service Corps. the crisis in Haiti occurred. We have been asked help fill
the needs the relief agencies have for medical volunteers. We have immediate
needs for 3 week volunteer assignments in Haiti for Registered Nurses and
Physicians in all specialties. I will have more details tomorrow but likely
transportation to Haiti, at least from South Florida, will be covered. We
are partnering with reputable disaster response organizations to fill their
needs for medical volunteers. 

 

Anyone who is a licensed healthcare professional who wants to serve in Haiti
Disaster Response please contact me ASAP.
