Please see the notice below from the American Medical Rehabilitation
Providers Association for possible collaboration.

Greetings:

I am writing to inform you how the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers
Association (AMRPA , http://www.amrpa.org) might be of assistance to your
relief organization in assisting to meet needs for Rehabilitation Services
in Haiti. We are a national trade Association representing Medical
Rehabilitation Hospitals, Units and providers throughout the country. Our
membership consists of Rehabilitation providers and professionals
exclusively devoted to treating and meeting the needs of individuals who
have suffered catastrophic injuries and disease including: Spinal Cord
Injuries; Head Injuries; Orthopedic injuries including Amputations; stroke;
and other injuries and diseases requiring Rehabilitation Services and
interventions. Our membership consists of practicing rehabilitation
professionals including physiatrists (physicians specializing in
rehabilitation), specialty physicians, rehabilitation nurses, therapists,
Prosthesis's and others. We are able to quickly reach a large audience of
rehabilitation specialists and providers through our weekly Newsletter and
Monthly Magazine and would like to know if you have a call or message for
assistance that we can quickly communicate to our membership concerning the
need for Rehabilitation services in Haiti. Please feel free directly to
respond to this e mail or if you prefer to speak to someone, please feel
free to contact Maggie Ramirez of AMRPA at 347-573-3732. Thank you. We hope
we can work collaboratively with your organization to help address this
terrible disaster.
