Please see the notice below about a special meeting of the Global Health
Council¡¯s Faith and Global Health Caucus. The March 15 (3:30-5:20pm)
meeting will concentrate on how the earthquake and the ensuing emergency has
affected the work of caucus members and others in the faith community.

 

Please see the attached agenda which also contains information about a
call-in number for those who cannot attend in person. 

 

The meeting is open to all who want to attend. 

 

We would encourage you to connect with this group whose vision is ¡°To be a
vibrant, inclusive, interfaith forum that connects, affirms, and advocates
for the role of faith and the role of faith©\related organizations in
responding to the great challenges of global public health.¡± For more

Dear All Members of the Faith and Global Health Caucus, 
  
The caucus leadership would like to invite each of you to participate in a
special meeting of the Caucus on March 15th from 3:30-5:20 pm (EST) to
discuss the earthquake in Haiti and how it has/is affecting member
organizations who are working on the ground meeting urgent health care and
infrastructure needs. The following members will be presenting:

Relief (UMCOR) Health 

 

¡¤      Kathryn Lockwood, Nutrition Sector Specialist, International
Programs Group, World Vision

¡¤      Jeff Jordan, Senior Vice President of Programs and Director of the
Washington Office, Catholic Medical Mission Board  

 

¡¤      Rick Santos, President and CEO of IMA World Health
