DIARRHEA: Lesson 3

Drama and Songs

Drama:

Divide the students into groups of four. Each group may

choose the story from this chapter they want to dramatize. After they have practiced and presented their drama to the group, the group should vote on the one which best tells the story. This group can then give their drama in front of the entire school, the village school, or the village. Arrangements can be made with the principle or the village chief.

Songs:

Suggest that each student makes up a song about diarrhea including the symptoms, cause, prevention and treatment learned through the story. An example of a song is in Lesson 3 on malaria.

Sing several songs made up by the students before the drama is to be presented.
