Drama:

Divide the students into groups of four. Each group may choose the story from this chapter they want to dramatize. After they have practiced and presented' their drama to the group, the group should vote on the one which best tells the story. This group can then give their drama in front of the entire school, the village school, or the village. Arrangements can be made with the principal or the village chief.

Songs:

Suggest that each student makes up a song about latrines. Have them include symptoms of the various diseases resulting from the lack of latrines. Also the changes that result once they have latrines.
