AIDS Awareness and Challenge
v Uganda

Details Food for the Hungry's involvement
in AIDS ministry on the outskirts of Kampala, Uganda, and describes the
organization's project addressing the lack of care for AIDS patients and
their families, as well as the sexual promiscuity that promotes the spread
of AIDS. FHI began the project in conjunction with local churches and worked
initially through Sunday morning church services and youth groups, then
developed further initiatives along with the Diocese. |
