* Medical Ambassadors International Training Program:
  • Training and empowering individuals to take more responsibility, under God's direction, for their own health. 
  • A training program (TOT) has been established to equip Christian organizations to establish their own integrated program which deals with man as a whole person. This is done by equipping people to be trainers in a three Phase Training Program. These trainers will then train the CHE volunteers in their villages.
  • We have developed over 600 lesson plans of which the AIDS material below are from. Our learner-centered, participatory training approach has proven to be effective and something to be proud of. People must go through our Training of Trainers learning how the CHE program works and how to use these learner centered lessons.
  • Also used are 17 Problem Posing teaching picture as well as 21 Picture Books on physical and spiritual topics which are used by the CHEs.

    * Treasuring the Gift: Producing a Sexual Health Learning Pack for Religious Youth Groups
    Lusaka Interfaith HIV/AIDS Networking Group, Project Concern International (Zambia).
    Report describes the process of producing a learning curriculum for youth groups which began in My 1998 and resulted in the production of a 142-page draft book, detailing recommendations on how the book can be used.
    * What's AIDS Mom?

    Judy is a teacher in South Africa and has been involved educational video production. This is a colorfully illustrated book geared towards early grade school children. Will not be appropriate in some settings because it is very frank about sex between a mother and father to produce a baby (talks about getting AIDS when two people make love and is illustrated). Talks about use of condoms, but is not graphically illustrated.
