AMR Sermon Guides

ReAct Africa Network launched two faith-specific Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Sermon Guides for Christian faith leaders and communities and Muslim faith leaders and communities.
The guides have been developed to support faith-based responses to one of the most urgent global health challenges of our time.
Each guide features eight sermon outlines, grounded in Scripture or Islamic teachings, and informed by scientific evidence on antibiotic use, disposal, and the human cost of AMR.
By bringing faith and science together, these resources empower faith leaders to:
- Promote responsible use of medicines
- Encourage safe disposal practices
- Support communities affected by AMR
- Inspire collective action rooted in moral responsibility
