CCIH Engagement with Universities
CCIH seeks to raise the visibility of members and their work, improving the quality of global health, and fostering fellowship. University relationships add value to CCIH and our network, the university, its faculty, and its students.
How Individuals from Universities/Colleges Can Engage
CCIH can engage with University/College students, faculty, or administrators in a variety of ways. Below are a few options. If these, or something else, are of interest, please begin by emailing membership (at) ccih.org.
- Research Partner: CCIH is a strong partner in supplying data to universities interested in doing research aligned with global health and faith-based organizations.
- Faculty Fellowships and Sabbaticals: We provide faculty with opportunities for fellowships and sabbatical research.
- Guest Lecturing: CCIH staff have served as guest lecturers or are teaching full courses virtually.
- Student Learning: We offer internships and can be an intermediary between universities and nonprofits, especially our members, or other faith-based organizations or NGOs.
- Join the WhatsApp group for academics: This group mostly focuses on grant opportunities for researchers (students, mid-career, and faculty) and is a benefit for CCIH member universities/colleges only. Email your phone number associated with WhatsApp to membership (at) ccih.org if you are from a CCIH University/College member.
