Protecting Those in Need
CCIH signed onto a letter from people of faith to the Trump Administration urging the administration not to reduce funding for Global Health, Humanitarian Assistance, and Development. The letter refers to Biblical scripture calling Christians to care for the marginalized, particularly women and children who are vulnerable and cites James 1:27 which states that serving others is “the heart of religion.” The letter was coordinated by Hope through Healing Hands.
