They are integral to the delivery of HIV/AIDS services, managing epidemics, and innovating in community-based services. As global interest in primary health care (PHC) rises, health system planners need access to accurate data regarding the scope and location of faith-based health facilities to incorporate into planning and resource allocations. Significant gaps exist in the data and description of faith-based health facilities.
